DIVORCED, SEPARATED, WIDOWED

CROSSROADS

People who gather to share problems associated with being separated or divorced. Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m. in St, Michael's School (enter off 143rd St. & West Ave.), Orland Park, IL. For information, call 708-361-4535.

DIVORCE RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUP

Doreen Zaborac & Associates will offer a Divorce Recovery Support Group every Friday, beginning at 7:00 p.m. There is a $10 fee for supplies. Doreen Zaborac & Associates is located at 17255 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park. For More information, call (708) 633-4533.

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP

ALZHEIMER SUPPORT GROUP

Faith Christian Reformed Church offers a monthly support group for caregivers and family members dealing with Alzheimer's.  It meets on the second Thursday of ever month at 7:00 p.m. Faith Christian Reformed Church is located at 8383 W. 171st ST., Tinley Park. COPING WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENT

An OASIS group, which stands for Orland Area Sight Impaired Support, provides support, referrals  and independent living workshops for those dealing with visual impairment. The group is rooted in God. It meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month, from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., at Orland Park Church. The Church is located at 7500 Sycamore Drive, Orland Park. This support group is for anyone who has a family member with a substance abuse problem. Meetings are held at Palos Community Hospital, 123rd & 80th Ave., Palos Heights. They are held on Monday evenings from 7- 8:30 p.m., in Conference Room F.

PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

The Cancer Center at Little Company of Mary Hospital, 2800 W. 95th St., Evergreen Park, offers a prostate cancer support group from 7 - 9:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month. The group will gather in Meeting Room 1 of the Cancer Center. For more information, call (708) 229-6015.

TRANSITIONS: A CAREGIVER'S SUPPORT NETWORK

This group aids in supporting  and identifyting resources available to those caring for the emotional and/or physical demands of loved ones. The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church. The address is 7059 w. 127th Street, Palos Heights. MILITARY FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP

STRIPES                                                

STRIPES, is a support group for veterans from all wars, veterans’ families and anyone who cares about their readjustment. The group meets at New Life Community Church, 5333 W. 151st St., Oak Forest.
